Really cool web. Demo is working, but docker not.
Docker can be pulled (v1.8.1), also DB and run.
UPDATE 11/08/2025: Personal library now works, it was human error, not UI bug.
But mentioned bugs remains
But after sign-in, I cannot simply Create Personal library. I see doc. I list my pdf files under /books also trying /books/mybooks But web UI told me constantly:
This directory is empty
So I cannot create Library.
All volumes was mapped good. What I put to host’s folder, can be listed on container. I also tried empty pdf made, not PDF/A (mentioned on GitHub). Restart docker container… Nothing works.
There are numerous bugs:
- Some books not imported
- Re-scan Library is not discovering all the books · Issue #1349 · booklore-app/booklore · GitHub
- out of memory
etc. Personally I recommend to wait for fix this unfortunate bugs and do not add this to Big Bear Repo at this time.
