I’m excited to announce that FileBrowser Quantum has been added to BigBearUniversal Apps!

## What is FileBrowser Quantum?

FileBrowser Quantum is a self-hosted web file manager forked from the original FileBrowser project with advanced features. It provides a clean web interface for managing files on your server, with powerful enhancements like OIDC authentication, indexed search, office document previews, and multi-source support.

Key capabilities include:

  • Indexed Search: Fast file search powered by an indexed backend

  • Office Document Previews: Preview office documents directly in the browser

  • OIDC Authentication: Enterprise single sign-on support

## Configuration

### Default Settings

  • Port: 8700 (maps to container port 80)

  • Image: gtstef/filebrowser:1.1.2-stable

  • Architectures: amd64, arm64

  • Data Storage: /home/filebrowser/data (database and configuration)

  • File Storage: /srv (served files directory)

### Default Credentials

Username: admin

Password: admin

Please change the default password after your first login.

### Environment Variables

  • TZ: Timezone for the application (default: UTC)
