Hi I have installed Home assistant big bear on my zimaboard running casa os. I have been trying to add the Sonoff zigbee dongle to home assistant but whilst the dongle is picked up by the system, Home assistant dowsn’t seem to see it. What can I do?
Hey, are you 100% sure that the USB dongle works with that version of HA?
I run HA on a old x86 comp. And wanted to move it to my casaos setup to save power /space/ ect only to spend days trying to restore a backup of my original HA install into casa only to findout that some of my integrations did not work with that version of HA and there was no walk around. So HA still runs on the old x86 system today (cn60 Chrome box)
Sorry for the of my answer but this was over a year ago and it might be related
How do I check that? I run CasaOS on a 832 Zimaboard and the Zigbee is the latest E version. I have watched tons of YouTube videos on the topic, they all have one thing in common: edit a docker compose yaml file which I can’t find anywhere in the CasaOS storage. I even tried to install docker compose breaking everything so now I have to reinstall casa os and HA, thank god I didn’t add that many devices to HA yet.
There’s a pretty good graphic part way down showing the difference in versions
Sorry, I should have explained myself better. I have installed HA from the bigbear casaos store. How do I know which HA version is it?
