I installed Cacaos on a physical server and set up NextCloud with MariaDB. Everything seemed to be working fine. I have a total of eight 4TB disks, and they always showed up—until I tried to check what NextCloud was downloading from my phones. Now, my NextCloud server is down, and my disks have disappeared.
Is anyone willing to take this on with me? I’m desperate. I’m 59 years old and started learning Linux just a year ago. I’d say I have a pretty solid foundation, but I’ve obviously done something wrong.
I’m trying to learn because, if something were to happen to me, I want my wife of 35 years to know where to find all our little investments and important data—without having to rely on the big guys. I will always reciprocate once I’ve learned.
P.S. ChatGPT cleaned up my writing for me—just making sure it reads well!
