Immich server not updating even after reinstalling?

Hi Team,

I have updated my CasaOS to the latest version (v0.4.15). I’m using big-bear-immich and trying to update the server version. I did an uninstall and reinstall, and the settings seem to be pulling the right “tags” but when launching the Immich app, it still shows v1.135.

I already tried restarting CasaOS and restarting the mini-pc itself. Anybody have any idea what’s preventing me from updating my server version? Thanks!

Hi Gran_Lev and welcome.

EDIT:
do not do it.
explanation at the end of the post

I have no real experience with that, but when I look to config folder, for me it is very clear.

casaOS config folder and main file is here:

/etc/casaos/app-management.conf

See part:

[server]
url1
url2

url1 is casaos.app/store/main.zip - download and see 09/24/2025 last update

url2 …master.zip … is github with last write time 10/09/2025 so last apps configs and urls… are in this pkg on github.

Try to comment/delete url1 (casaos.app). Comments are: line starts with symbol: #

reload casaos service:

sudo systemctl restart casaos

If nothing happens, try to reboot Host.

Please share with us, if it helps You.

Before upgrade Immich, be sure, You have backup. Path to folder, where sit Your data is little bit described here.

EDIT:
I do not understand, that there are 2 stores: (main)store + bigbeartechworld. Remove main store You lose access to 145 apps.
Better do more then 1 reboot for update big bear store app. Restarting service casaos (systemctl restart casaos) is not enough for refresh.

Hi Gran_Lev,

i know your problem.

I use bigbearimmich over casaos. The newer versions are not displayed in setting, you must do manual. Before make a snapshot from your server.
