why does it keep asking for password abc when you try to edit or do anything on the codeserver app? any help

Using code server too, im using your thing. i need to install NVM and whenever i go to do sudo apt install i cannot it just says password for abc. i try to use my code server password and nothing.
Default password is: sudo_my_password
You can change it in the envs:
- SUDO_PASSWORD=sudo_my_password # Password to access code-server
