Zimablade/CasaOS internal storage full

Hello everyone!

I’ve been having a problem with my Zimablade internal memory since yesterday. It is completely full, although I have only installed AdGuard and emby. I can’t say exactly what the problem is. But I assume that emby is completely overloading the memory with its metadata.

I don’t know how to move all the data from emby to the external hard disk. Can anyone help me with this?

I have not been able to connect to emby since then. Thanks in advance for any support.

Kind regards.

Hello,

I have a tutorial that walks you through it here:

Can I keep the operating system and the apps (AdGuard + emby) on the internal storage, but store all other media (series, movies, music and their metadata) on the external hard disk? I would like to avoid having to reinstall everything again. Is that possible?

I only want to permanently move the data that unnecessarily loads the internal storage.

Could you help clarify a question I have?

While following this tutorial to modify the “data folder” to a different storage location, I noticed that, during the process, the disk gets renamed to “AppData”, and all the Docker application folders are placed directly in the root of the storage drive.

Is this the expected behavior?

Would it be possible to keep all cache folders related to the applications inside a specific folder on the storage drive?
For example:

/DATA/AppData/DATA → this is where the Docker application folders would be stored?

This way, it would be easier to organize my personal files on the drive, keeping the DATA folder solely for Docker application caches.

Also, is it possible to prevent the external drive from being renamed to “AppData” and keep the custom name I set during formatting?
